Essay 2-02b: My Favorite Place

There are many places that I like. Especially, my favorite place is my parents’ house. My parents’ house is a one-storied house, but it is large. My parents’ house made over about six years ago. My parents’ house is in Kagoshima. Now, there is my father and my mother in my parents’ house, because my sister lives by herself in Fukuoka. I want to spend there all the time, but it is difficult, because I went to college in Kumamoto. So I live by myself in Kumamoto now. I like my parents’ house that my family live.

My parents’ house has many rooms. For example, my room, parents’ room, a living room, a kitchen, a closet room, a toilet, a bathroom, and so on. There is not only a Western-style room but also a Japanese-style room. Furthermore, my parents’ house has large garden. I like spending any rooms. My parents’ house relaxes me, so I like there. I will talk about three rooms of my parents’ house from now on.


First, I like my room, especially. My room was my sister’s room. There are bed, desk, closet, music player, and so on. My room is large and there are many things, books, clothes, CDs, and so on. My room has many yellow things, because I like yellow. I like spending on bed, and I listen to music and I read a fashion magazine on bed. I relax to spend on my bed. I always studied there. There are two desk, study’s desk and table. I often studied table sitting a floor. I like talking with my sister in my room. We are getting along with my sister. I like clothes, so there are many clothes in my room. I can do that I like in my room.


Next, I like other room in my parents’ house. For example, I like living room, because there is that my family gather. I love my family, so I glad to spend with my family. There is a sofa, big table, TV, a computer, and so on. There is not only a Western-style room but also there is small tatami space in living room. I like there as well. I talk with my family, I eat a meal and I watch TV, and so on. And, there is big window. I like looking out the window from sitting living room’ sofa. When I am there, I become composed.

 

 

Finally, I like my house’s garden. It is very large. There is a garage, it can put three cars. And, there is my grandmother’s house on the same premises. And, there are various plants. For example, various flowers, bamboos, and so on. In my hometown, a starlit sky is beautiful, so I often go outside at night, and I often watch a starlit sky in my house’s garden. I sometimes clean my house’s garden. I like cleaning there, because I like spending in my house’s garden.

I like all rooms in my parents’ house. I live by myself in Kumamoto, so I feel lonely. But I am always looking forward to go back my parents’ house and to see my family. I like the time when I spend with my family, I relax with my family at my parents’ house. I love my family and my hometown, so my favorite place is my parents’ house the best!
