BR 2-6: HENRY AND MUDGE AND THE Starry Night

Everyone slept safe and sound and there were no bears, no scares. (p: 39)

This story has Henry, Henry’s big dog Mudge, Henry’s parents. One day, they went camping. Henry’s mother had been a Camp Fire Girl, so she knew all about camping. Henry’s father didn’t know anything about camping, so he just came with a guitar and a smile. Henry and Mudge loved camping. They got ready to hike. They enjoyed walking and climbing. They saw a fish jump, a doe and waterfalls. It was beautiful night, so they looked at the sky. Henry didn’t know there were so many stars in the sky. They enjoyed camping!
